Mr Amos Emmanuel, Chief Software Architect, Programos Software Group is a prolific software designer and techpreneur who has served as ICT backbone to numerous financial institutions in Nigeria. Amos Emmanuel who hails from Essien Udim LGA of Akwa Ibom State, is the author of the multiple-award winning capital market software #CloudIntegra and #CiFixPro real-time stock market trading solution. is the Past Vice President, ITAN – Nigeria’s member at the WITSA. He is the Chairman ITAN (Lagos State Chapter).
Amos Emmanuel, who is Founder, Programos Foundation - a not-for-profit non-governmental organisation, and promoter of Nigeria’s National Smartcity Innovation Upskilling #InnovationbedCampus - a digital ecosystem initiative which is currently upskilling graduate youths nominated by ICT Agencies of government from the 36 states and FCT on UN ICT4SIDS Strategic Planning & SDGs-Advisor initiative empowering youth beneficiaries from developing countries and small islands to become subject matter experts and aid catalyse the transformation of the public service and digital maturity journey of their regions. Amos is the UN World Summit Awards Eminent National Expert for Nigeria and Grand Jury member. He is charged with the responsibility of tech-scouting, mentoring and showcasing homegrown, purpose-driven, digital innovation with a high positive impact on improving the Nigerian society to the world stage.
The polyglot programmer and innovator per excellence is the Policy Director Africa on the Global Digital Foundation based in Europe with presence in Canberra, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
Amos Emmanuel, is a fellow of the Institute of Information Management, FIIM. Amos Emmanuel is a life member of the Nigeria Computer Society, NCS and pioneer member of Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria, ISPON.
