WSA is a nomination based award system.

To apply you need to be nominated by either a WSA National Expert as best national digital solution for the UN SDGs in one of the 8 categories.

Each country can only nominate one project/solution per category. Nominations to the international WSA are possible through national contests and national expert panel selection.

Through this high level selectory system, please be aware that every country has their own deadlines for the call. The generally communicated WSA deadline is the timeframe of the global call, and communicates the last possible date of a nomination by the national expert panel.

جائزة WSA هي نظام جائزة قائم على الترشيح.

لتقديم طلب، تحتاج إلى أن تُرشح أحد خبراء WSA الوطنيين كأفضل حلاً رقمياً وطنياً يسهم في أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة في إحدى الفئات الثمانية.

يمكن لكل بلد أن يُرشح مشروعًا / حلاً واحدًا فقط في كل فئة. يكون الترشيح لجائزة WSA الدولية ممكنًا من خلال المسابقات الوطنية واختيار لجنة خبراء وطنية.

To apply for WSA you have to provide detailed information on your product in the WSA Database.

Be it a tool for accurate diagnostics of wounds, a webpage to organize international meetings for you or a political think tank, the WSA Winners offer a vast spectre of digital innovation.

To apply, you need to register on this website and fill out the application for the National Round until June 30th, 2025.

The application consists of 17 mandatory questions, but don’t worry:

• 2 are simple yes/no questions,
• 1 is a multiple-choice selection,
• 3 require answers under 200 characters.

That means you’re really answering just 11 full questions, and completing the form should take between 30 to 90 minutes.

Your responses will help WSA National Experts assess your solution's relevance and impact. Based on this information, they will decide whether to nominate you for the WSA Global Contest.

WSA welcomes digitial solutions that

1) Create positive impact (and can provide measurable impact numbers),

2) Are fully launched and operational,

3) Were launched in 2022 or later.
